Opening Day for 2025: Mark your calendars! Opening day will be Saturday May 3rd. The day will commence with the raising of the flag at 11am with bowling to follow. More details will be posted closer to the day. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2025 lawn bowling season. Information on membership dues for 2025 can be found in the Membership Page. 2025 Open Houses: Wednesday April 23 (6pm-8pm) and Saturday April 26 (1pm-3pm) Burnside Lawn Bowling Club will open our greens and clubhouse to the public on Wednesday April 23rd (6pm-8pm) and Saturday April 26th (1pm-3pm). Come out and try lawn bowling for free! All ages and abilities welcome. Members will be onsite to show you the ropes. (Please wear running shoes). The Calendar of Events Page will be updated in the coming months with information on draws and tournaments for 2025. Members: Volunteers are needed for our two Open Houses scheduled for April.

Bowls Canada Boulingrin Club Coaching Workshops
If you are interested in coaching, Bowls Canada Boulingrin (BCB) is running Club Coach Workshops via Zoom on the following dates:
March 18 & 20, 6-10pm EDT (3-7 pm PST)
If you are interested in working towards your coaching certification, sign up for workshops directly in the Locker: https://thelocker.coach.ca/event/public/5728908.
Make sure to login into your account (if you already have one) or register with the locker. The cost of the course is $100 and can be paid here: https://bowlscanada.com/en/product/club-coach-workshop-fee/.
In order to participate in the course, both a registration form on the locker and payment must be received by BCB.
