Welcome to the Burnside Lawn Bowling Club website.
Spring has sprung, and with it comes the start of lawn bowling season! We are ready to welcome back our members to the greens and to introduce newbies to our club.

Public Open House:
- Sunday April 26, 2026 (12:00 - 3:00pm)
- Burnside Lawn Bowling Club will open our greens and clubhouse to the public to allow newbies, novices and experienced bowlers to roll some bowls with us! Come out and try lawn bowling on Burnside's greens for free! All ages and abilities welcome. We will provide equipment and members/coaches will be onsite to show you the ropes. (Please wear soft soled or running shoes).
Note: The first 3 visits to our club are free, and include an introductory lesson - come try Lawn Bowling!

Registration and Membership Dues:
Information on membership dues for 2026 can be found in the Membership Page.
For current members, your membership dues should be paid prior to your first day/evening of bowling.
Member News and Announcements
Welcome to the 2026 lawn bowling season! Our green is looking good and is ready for you to start practicing (subject to any green maintenance activities and, of course, any morning frost delays). We have some early season dates to share with you.
March / April Work Parties:
March / April Work Parties:
- Saturdays March 14 & 28 and April 11 (10:00am - 4:00pm)
- Help is needed to complete some annual start of season clean up and general maintenance work around to grounds and clubhouse.
- Many hands make light work, so please come out for a couple of hours or the whole day if you can. Coffee and snacks will be provided!
- Refer to the email sent to members on March 4th for details on what we plan to tackle and how you can help beautify Burnside LBC.
- Sunday April 26, 2026 (12:00 - 3:00pm)
- Member volunteers are need to support our Open House to welcome prospective new members and teach the game of bowls. Please consider lending a hand on this fun day!
- Saturday May 2nd, 2026 (1:00 - 4:00pm)
