Welcome to the Burnside Lawn Bowling Club.
We are open for play and all regularly scheduled draws and coaching clinics are now underway.

Registration and Membership:
Information on membership dues for 2026 can be found in the Membership Page.
For current members, your membership dues must be paid before the end of May.
If you're are interested in joining us, please use the form on the Contact page of this website. We will get back to you with opportunities to visit Burnside LBC and try this wonderful sport.
Note: The first 3 visits to our club are free, and lessons are available for a $20 fee that will be applied to your membership dues should you join our club - come try Lawn Bowling!

2026 Bowls South Island Tournaments:

Competitive Pairs Monday Night League games are underway!
- Regular matches run from June 8 - July 13th with 2 rounds of playoffs -> July 20 & 27
July Special Events:
- Canada Day Event
- Wed - July 1st - arrive by 11:00am to sign in
- We'll play two 8-end regular games (with a twist)
- There will be a BBQ and cake in between and we'll end the day with the spider game
- Please put your name down on the sign up sheet posted in the club house so we know approximate numbers for food
- Come dressed in your favourite red & white/Canada Day attire!!
- This is a fun day and all BLBC members are welcome to participate.
- Ashford Mixed Triples (open) Tournament
- Sat & Sun - July 11 & 12 (daytime)
- start time: 9:00am (trial ends at 8:45am)
- Note: club's regular Sat am draw is cancelled.
- Spectators welcome & volunteers needed!
- Sign up sheet for green set up and kitchen helpers posted on the club's volunteer bulletin board
