Located in Hampton Park, the land on which the club is situated was donated by Mr. Vallance. He lived next door where the Les Passmore Seniors Centre is now located. He and his friends thought it would be a good place for a bowling green. The club house opened in 1922 and is now a designated Heritage building. Our club has a history of being family friendly. We have welcomed members as young as 8 years old. The Burnside Lawn Bowling Club is associated with Bowls BC - the Bowls South Island district. bowlsbc.com/
